Present Simple

Hi, today i´m going to explain the present simple.

This tense is used to:

- Habits and routines. (I smoke)
- To give instructions to someone. (open the window)
- To talk about planned events. (your exam starts at 19:00)

WARNING! Present simple is not used to talk about things which are happening at the moment.

Past simple

Hi! today I am going to explain you the past tense. We use this tense to: talk about the past and to talk about hypotheses ( things that are imaginedrather than true). There are two types of verbs: the regular verbs and the irregular ones. We use regular verbs adding -ed at the end. If the verb has one syllable, the last consonant gets duplicated before adding the -ed suffix. If the verbs ends with Y , we change this letter for an I before adding -ed . If the verb ends with an e we only have to add a d .  To use the regular verbs, you have to learn all of them.  Here you have a list with all of them! Future tense

Hi! today I will explain the future tense: To speak about future we can use: will and be going to. Will is used to talk about instant decisions, to express a promise and to make predictions without an evidence. examples: It´s cold here, i will close the window I will help you tomorrow. You will be taller than me. the structure used is:  subject + will/won´t + verb (infinitive) I will be the best   -   I won´t be the best   -   Will i be the best? She will be the best   -   She won´t be the best   -   Will she be the best? We will be the bests   -   We won´t be the bests   -   Will we be the bests?
